Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of CityDrive Rentals' website and services. By booking a vehicle or using our platform you agree to these terms, which establish the contractual relationship between you and CityDrive Rentals, Inc. Please review them carefully before making a reservation. If you do not agree, do not use our services. The terms explain reservation confirmations, payment obligations, user responsibilities while operating a rented vehicle, and limitations of liability. They are intended to be clear and practical for customers and organizational clients. For questions about these terms or how they apply to a specific booking, contact our support team via the contact page. The effective date for these terms is 01 January 2026; CityDrive reserves the right to update terms with notice to registered account holders and by posting revisions on this page.

Terms and agreement document concept

Reservation and Payment Terms

When you submit a reservation request, CityDrive will confirm availability and may require a deposit or pre-authorization on a payment card. Accepted payment methods are displayed during booking. Charges include rental fees, taxes, optional add-ons, delivery or drop-off fees, and any applicable penalties for late return or damage. Full payment terms appear on the booking confirmation. Deposits and holds are released according to card network timing and our billing partner's policies. You are responsible for ensuring the payment method used has sufficient funds and is in good standing. Refunds for cancellations or adjustments are processed in accordance with the cancellation policy and may be subject to administrative fees. For corporate accounts, invoicing arrangements are subject to the contract agreed with CityDrive. For disputes related to charges, contact [email protected] so that we may promptly review and resolve the matter.

User Responsibilities and Conduct

The renter and any authorized drivers must hold a valid government-issued driver's license and meet age and payment requirements listed at booking. Drivers must follow all traffic and parking laws, operate the vehicle responsibly, and avoid prohibited uses such as racing, towing for hire, or using the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. You must return the vehicle with the fuel or charge level specified in your rental terms; failure to do so may result in refueling or charging fees. Report accidents and mechanical issues immediately through our roadside assistance line. Unauthorized drivers or violations of these rules may result in additional charges and termination of the rental without refund. You are responsible for tolls, parking citations, fines, and any legal penalties resulting from your usage of the vehicle. CityDrive may pursue recovery for damages, loss, or breach of these terms as permitted by law.

Cancellations, Changes, and No-shows

Cancellation and change policies are displayed at the time of booking and may vary by rate type. Standard reservations can typically be changed or canceled within the posted window without penalty; some discounted or specialty rates are non-refundable or have stricter terms. No-show fees apply if you fail to pick up the vehicle within the grace period and do not notify CityDrive in advance. If you need to change your booking, update vehicle selection, or adjust pickup time, notify us through your reservation portal or contact support as early as possible so we can accommodate your request. Refunds are processed to the original payment method following any applicable deductions for service fees or usage already rendered.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For disputes not resolved through our customer support channels, parties agree to initial mediation in good faith. If mediation fails, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration under local arbitration rules unless prohibited by law. Certain consumer rights may allow you to pursue relief in small claims court for limited claims. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
